Who we are

A grassroots community group dedicated to the preservation and improvement of St. Louis’s Forest Park, Citizens to Protect Forest Park was initially formed to address issues of land usage within the park. Largely inactive since the beginning of the Master Plan process in 1993, we have recently reorganized to address concerns regarding a proposed long-term lease of park land. Our Steering Committee includes residents of the neighborhoods around the Park as well as environmental activists and other concerned citizens of the Metro area.
